April 2024. "Episode 200: A Clinical Psychologist’s Takeaways Living with Bipolar." I share my journey from first experiencing hypomania as an undergraduate at UCLA to eventually pursuing my doctorate degree in clinical psychology. I also discuss the challenges I faced as a young adult learning about mental health and stigma in the Asian American community. The episode highlights the importance of acknowledging bipolar disorder as part of one's life but not letting it define one's entirety, advocating for a holistic approach to wellness and embracing one's authentic self.

I'm Living Proof Series by Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance: Podcast & Blog

June 2021. “I’m Living Proof: A Letter to My Younger Self - Bipolar Does Not Define Me.” After sharing what I would have wanted my younger self to hear all those years ago, I describe more of my first experience with hypomania and the negative impact it had on my relationships at the time. I also discuss the challenges I faced in establishing mental health treatment as a young adult. I also wrote this letter as a reminder for other young adults that you can learn to live well with bipolar and not have to be defined by it.

Read the letter I wrote to my younger self here.
