Break the Silence
I empower young adults to feel in charge of their lives and find support with their mental health conditions. Drawing from my lived experiences as a Korean and Filipina American psychologist with bipolar disorder, I help them combat stigma, shame, and systemic barriers. In my talks, I promote self-knowledge, self-compassion, and self-advocacy, as well as the power of community. Together we can navigate the challenges of our healthcare system and break the silence around mental health struggles. Audiences are reminded that we do not have to be limited or defined by our diagnoses.
